With the Windows Operating System, you need to update your operating system and VPS up to date, and this is important to avoid mishaps.
Running a Windows Update bi-monthly is highly recommended. Preferably on the weekend to avoid interruption on your trading.
You may opt to configure your VPS and run it automatically. However, you need to install and reset your VPS at a specific time, and this would mean you need to login and reboot your platform. With that, we recommend updating it manually, particularly if you have a dedicated trading platform.
Click Start Menu and then search Windows Update. It will give you the option to update the window.
